Jordan Brand Fashions the Oregon Ducks a New Air Jordan 14 PE
Only 275 pairs of the Tinker Hatfield-designed colorway exist.
There are a handful of colleges in the US that are sponsored by Jordan Brand, but none receives more love than the University of Oregon. As one of the most competitive NCAA programs in the country — and the school that’s stationed closes to Nike World Headquarters — the OU Ducks are often made special player exclusive sneakers, and the latest to be revealed is this Air Jordan 14 PE. This marks the third AJ 14 PE that MJ’s sportswear imprint has fashioned for the Pacific Northwest institution.
A majority of the kicks’ upper half is styled with various shades of gray. A muted shade dresses up the suede-infused, Ferrari-inspired side panels and toe boxes while a steel-esque hue covers the leather overlays and tongues. Collar badges substitute the traditional Jumpman logo for the Ducks insignia and replace the Jordan brand tongue hits for an “Oregon” spell-out. In addition, the University of Oregon logo is stamped to the rear and the interior side of the tongues display the pair’s individual number out of a mere 275 pairs. More green accents are applied to the midsole molds to further echo its school pride.
