Kendrick Lamar, Rosalía and More To Headline 2023 Primavera Sound Festivals
In Barcelona and Madrid.
Primavera Sound has unveiled its 2023 lineups for two forthcoming festivals in Spain; the first will take place in Barcelona from May 31 to June 3, and the second is scheduled in Madrid from June 7 to June 10.
Blur, Kendrick Lamar, Depeche Mode, Rosalía, Halsey and Calvin Harris will headline both festivals, and Pet Shop Boys will lead a smaller lineup on Wednesday’s free opening nights. Elsewhere, the festivals feature performances from FKA Twigs, Sparks, Laurie Anderson, Japanese Breakfast, Sudan Archives, Four Tet, Le Tigre, Caroline Polachek, NxWorries, Turnstile, Kelela, Alex G, Alvvays, Pusha T, Death Grips, Baby Keem, Christine and the Queens, John Cale, St. Vincent, Drain Gang and more. Notably, The Moldy Peaches announced their reunion to perform at both festivals.

Next year’s festivals will mark the first time that Primavera Sound will take place during consecutive weekends in Barcelona and Madrid. Under the moniker “I’ll Be Your Mirror,” the 2023 iterations will mimic one another in Barcelona’s The Parc del Fòrum and Madrid’s Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey.
