Expanding on the second collaboration of its successful “Classic Fusion Chronograph,” Hublot and OBEY’s Shepard Fairey have dropped the third iteration of their limited-edition watch project.

Labeled as Hublot’s “Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph All Black Shepard Fairey” timepiece, the new watch contains a Mandala centerpiece (as seen in the previous 2020 drop), with intricate, interlocking artwork and a monotone black ceramic finish.

Sapphire is seen in the open case back, highlighted by the limited-edition series number found on each of the 52 available timepieces. Additionally, a 4Hz “HUB1155” chronograph movement powers the watch dial that reveals Fairey’s iconic OBEY “Star” graphic at the center.

Commenting on the new installation of the collab and its big reveal held during the relaunch of Los Angeles’ Fashion Week, Fairey exclusively shared with Hypebeast: “We released the first iteration of the watch during the pandemic, and it sold out immediately. This new black-on-black, matte black version with gloss is a natural progression from the previous version. When it was silver, there was more contrast and it was a lot louder. This new watch is a lot more subdued.”

“I discovered that the Mandala – a recurring theme of my work and an ongoing source of inspiration – lives in perfect harmony and balance within a timepiece and it naturally became the centerpiece for my collaboration. I’m here to do the best version I can of everything I do,” Fairey added.

The new “All Black” Hublot x Shepard Fairey timepiece retails for $25,200 USD and can be found on the brand’s website.
