Porsche Builds Special Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for BLACKPINK's Jennie
Featuring custom logos designed by the artist.
After working with Round Two‘s Sean Wotherspoon to build a special-edition Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, Porsche now reveals another personal Taycan hatchback designed exclusively for BLACKPINK star Jennie. The car is Porsche Korea’s first project realized from its Sonderwunsch (translating to “special request”) program, featuring creative input from Jennie.
“As an artist, JENNIE is used to creative collaborations. She even brought a mood board to our meeting that visualized the initial ideas and reflected their reception,” recalls project manager Grant Larson.
Dressed in metallic black paintwork with 21-inch Exclusive Design rims in Meissenblue, Jennie opts for a relatively understated exterior. Highlights include illuminated “Jennie Ruby Jane” lettering across the front door entry guards with her nickname “NiNi” found on the rear doors. Typography from the Porsche 911 992 is used on the visible text details and projectors on the front doors project the “Jennie Ruby Jane” cloud logo that she created herself on the ground. Below, custom wheel hub covers feature the text “Sonderwunsch” and the artist’s name. Stepping inside, “Black” and “Crayon” hues are trimmed in “Meissenblue” with headrests adorned in cloud logos. A custom indoor car cover and a black dog box for Jennie’s Pomeranian “Kuma” are added as an extra touch.
“Being able to collaborate so intensively on my own very personal Porsche was an amazing experience,” says Jennie. “I’m especially proud of having designed the visualization of the clouds. I spend a lot of time traveling around the world – the sky and the clouds are my traveling companions and a beautiful symbol of these unique experiences. This is why I feel a special connection to them and am so passionate about photographing these nature motifs.”
