North Carolina A&T State University Is Honored With the Nike Dunk Low "Ayantee"
The HBCU’s colors offer a grand contrast to the shoe.
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and Nike have teamed up to deliver its collaborative Dunk Low “Ayantee.”
The silhouette arrives with a grey and brown base and complementing grey overlays, while the laces, tongue, insole and heel are dipped in the HBCU’s colors of gold and blue. “Ayantee” branding can be found as a repeating pattern on the laces while the A&T initials stand out as the tongue tag and the year 1891 — when the school was founded — is embroidered on the heel. A black panel swoosh adds another contrasting color to the shoe as it rests on a grey midsole and translucent mint green outsole.
