Extra Butter and Reebok Revive the BB 4000 II With Artist Jack Moore
Coming this Friday.

Extra Butter will host a limited release of the iconic Reebok BB 4000 II model at its Long Island City and Lower East Side stores later this week. For this release, the New York-based boutique spotlighted local artist, Jack Moore in its campaigns to demonstrate the sneakers’ versatile appeal and endless possibilities for personalization.
The BB 4000 II model originated from Reebok’s “BB” footwear range in the 1980s, where it was introduced as an accessible lifestyle and basketball sneaker. “Reebok always holds a nostalgic place in my heart,” says Bernie Gross, Extra Butter’s Creative Director. “The BB 4000 II comes from the design DNA of other retro throwbacks that people are more familiar with from Reebok, like the Club C. Once we got word that the BB was coming back, I saw it as a challenge to open the younger consumer’s awareness around an iconic Reebok option to add to their closet rotation.”
Extra Butter’s renewed take on the BB 4000 II will maintain the model’s clean, classic, and streamlined silhouette, designed for everyday wear as it seamlessly integrates into various styles and fits. The sneakers will feature premium leather overlays across the upper, Reebok side stripe, and cross-check branding. Complete with EVA rubber midsole, Reebok’s unique split Union Jack tongue logo, and an outsole fitted with classic basketball tooling.
