Italian watch brand Unimatic is celebrating the 25th anniversary anniversary of “the world’s most beautiful and exciting cycling event” with a gradient dialed limited-edition field watch.

Unimatic for L’Eroica celebrates the series founded in Chianti, Italy, in 1997 that sees cyclists tackle gravel tracks on vintage bikes while wearing vintage apparel.

Vintage Cycling Series Represented With A Burgundy Gradient Dial

The Modello Uno Ref. U1-ER anniversary watch is a 300-piece limited edition housed in a 40mm stain-brushed stainless steel case with a degradé “red and black L’Eroica” dial and luminescent indices in Super-LumiNova C1.

Time is indicated using “phantom ladder” hour and minute hands and a reverse lollipop second hand with luminous tip under a double-domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal, while the watch is secured on a perforated black calfskin “racing” strap and supplied with an additional sand-colored fabric strap.

Inside is a 3Hz Seiko NH35A calibre automatic movement with 41-hour power reserve, while the caseback is engraved with its individual number and the L’Eroica 25th Anniversary logo.

The L’Eroica x Unimatic Modello Uno Ref. U1-ER is available now via Time Unique, priced €670 Euros (approximately $655 USD).

Elsewhere in watches, Talley & Twine drops official ONE MusicFest watch.
