Drake and 21 Savage Push 'Her Loss' Album Release After Producer Noah "40" Shebib Contracts COVID
The collaborative record will now arrive on Friday, November 4.

Drake took to social media on Wednesday evening to share that his collaborative album with 21 Savage, Her Loss, will now arrive next week, instead of this Friday. OVO disclosed that his producer Noah “40” Shebib contracted COVID, delaying the mixing and mastering of the project.
“Our brother @ovo40 got Covid while mixing and mastering the crack so he’s resting up,” Drake wrote on his Instagram Story. “NOVEMBER 4th is HER LOSS day we’ll see you soon.” 21 Savage later shared the same message.
Drake and 21 Savage surprised fans with the album’s announcement last week, embedding text reading, “HER LOSS/ALBUM BY DRAKE AND 21 SAVAGE/OCTOBER 28, 2022,” into the final sequence of the “Jimmy Crooks” music video. The record was later confirmed by Republic Records through a tweet sharing the ending scene from the Honestly, Nevermind track’s visual.
The duo has worked together on several projects over the years. In 2021, they joined forces for “Knife Talk” on Drake’s Certified Lover Boy; the year prior, they collaborated on “Mr. Right Now” from 21 Savage’s Savage Mode II album with Metro Boomin, and in 2016, 21 Savage hopped on Drake’s “Sneakin.”
Stay tuned for Drake and 21 Savage’s joint record, Her Loss, out Friday, November 4.
