Kim Kardashian turned heads when she showed up at Balenciaga‘s Fall 2022 Paris Fashion Week show wrapped in bright yellow/black tape, topping off her outfit with a matching bag. Originally believed to be a custom accompaniment for her look, Balenciaga has now made the striking bag available.
The “Hourglass Small Handbag in Box With Tape in Yellow” serves as yellow/black tape take on one of Balenciaga’s popular baggage options. Priced at $3,100 USD, the release is limited-edition and handmade, making each piece unique.
Made in Italy, the bag features a Curvilinear base with box calfskin and tape wrapping the exterior. Additional detailing comes in the form of aged-silver “B” logo hardware, a back pocket, an inner zipped pocket, Nappa lambskin lining, and studded magnet closure. The bag is finished with a carrying handle and an adjustable, removable crossbody strap.
