An adidas Director Calls Out Company for Remaining Silent About Ye's Anti-Semitism
“Until adidas takes a stand, I will not stand with adidas.”

Although adidas placed its partnership with Ye‘s YEEZY brand under review earlier this month, the German sportswear company is now being called out by one of its directors for how it is dealing with Ye’s recent anti-Semitic statements. Through a public LinkedIn post, adidas Director of Trade Marketing, Sarah Camhi, who is of Jewish heritage, expressed that the brand needs to do better for its employees and community.
In the post, Camhi noted that adidas recently held its “Global Week of Inclusion” during Ye’s string of controversial social media outbursts and interviews, but has remained quiet publicly about his remarks. Camhi also says that adidas has yet to address the situation regarding Ye internally to its employees. Going on to highlight that adidas has turned a blind eye to Ye’s recent behavior despite dropping sponsored athletes for far less, including the use of steroids or being perceived as difficult to work with.
Sarah Camhi ended her post with a message directed to adidas and her fellow employees, “We need to do better for our employees and we need to do better for our communities. Until adidas takes a stand, I will not stand with adidas.”

In case you missed it, Ye has been dropped by Hollywood talent agency CAA and G.O.O.D. Music is no longer signed by Def Jam.
