Mayumi Yamase Upcycles NOAH Clothing With Watercolor Art
Continuing the label’s “NOT DEAD YET!” initiative.

NYC-based streetwear label NOAH first introduced its “NOT DEAD YET!” upcycling project in March of last year, allowing its customers to exchange store credit for old and unused items. Those items would be reused for future projects, and unusable pieces would be stripped down to become fiber filling and wiping rags.
Following a debut revival project with Kyoto Montsuki Company which specializes in deep black dyes, NOAH now joins forces with Tokyo-based artist Mayumi Yamase, who recently released a footwear series with Nike. Various colorways of tees, striped and mismatched hoodies, and long-sleeve shirts are introduced bearing Mayumi’s signature watercolor and crayon artwork along with stylized “NOT DEAD YET!” text.
The “NOT DEAD YET” series is now on sale at select NOAH locations and the NOAH CLUBHOUSE online store. Prices range from ¥7,500 JPY to ¥23,100 JPY (approximately $65 to $200 USD).
