Medicom Toy‘s PERFECT-STUDIO, the company’s outlet for characters from film and television, has collaborated with Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama to create a new “IRON MAN HAJIME SORAYAMA Metropolis Variant Ver.” figure.

The piece bears Sorayama’s trademark metallic look popularized by his erotic robot figures and consists of silver and gold die-cast and electroplated parts. The special-edition Iron Man figure measures 43 cm (approximately 17 inches) high and features LED lights on the eyes, chest, and palms. Other details include spiked antennas protruding from the ears and Iron Man engraved in Kanji on the quad plate.

The IRON MAN HAJIME SORAYAYAMA Metropolis Varian Ver. statue will arrive exclusively at 2G Tokyo for ¥327,800 JPY (approximately $2878 USD), and is expected to release sometime in March. Stay tuned for more updates.

Elsewhere, atmos and SECRET BASE collaborate with The Simpsons for an X-Ray Bart figure.
