Bored Ape Yacht Club has officially surpassed $1 billion USD in total traded volume on the OpenSea NFT platform.
While currently fighting over top floor price with CryptoPunks, its total volume of 300k ETH is still well under CryptoPunks’ 775k ETH in sales — that’s $1.1 billion USD to $2.9 billion USD.
With current high-profile owners, like Gunna and Eminem, there is a chance that BAYC could eventually reach the level of CryptoPunks in the coming year.
