Building on Cara Delevingne’s muse-artist relationship with the late designer, Karl Lagerfeld’s eponymous label has unveiled its latest collaboration with the British actor and model titled “CARA LOVES KARL”.

Working alongside Hun Kim, design director at KARL LAGERFELD, Delevingne developed the collection to feature sustainable materials throughout as well as focusing on inclusivity through gender-neutral designs — reflecting their shared values.

Comprised of a complete ready-to-wear collection, the collaboration arrives with a selection of outerwear, footwear and accessories. Boasting modern two-piece suits, asymmetrical transformable jackets and button shirts, the reversible fleece hoodies and matching cross-body bags gives a more dressed-down look to the collection. Speaking on the collaboration, Delevingne says, “I’m honored to be able to partner with the only fashion house that carries Karl’s name and get the chance to make a personal contribution to his legacy. It’s been great to share my ideas with the creative team, have a say in the designs, and just have some fun in the process.”

Keeping in line with the progressive approach to the garments’ designs, “CARA LOVES KARL” is accompanied by a futuristic campaign immortalizing Lagerfeld and Delevingne’s relationship using digital avatars. Facing the virtual version of herself, Delevingne is asked about the collection, her friendship with Lagerfeld, and honoring the designer’s iconic legacy in a physical-meets-digital interview.

You can shop KARL LAGERFELD’s new “CARA LOVES KARL” on the brand’s website now.
