Skechers Teams Up With 'One Piece' For Latest Sneaker Collection
Channelling the anime’s main characters.
Skechers returns with its latest collaboration with anime classic One Piece following its last partnership back in 2019.
Reworking the brand’s most recognizable silhouettes such as the bold Monster series, the urban-sporty Stamina V2 series as well as the iconic chunky D’Lites 4.0, the collection translates signature hues and motifs of five main One Piece characters: Monkey D. Luffy, Franky, Roronoa Zoro, Vinsmoke Sanji, and Tony Tony Chopper.
For the first time ever in this series, Skechers will also introduce two kids’ footwear, inspired by the characters Tony Tony Chopper and Monkey D. Luffy, with the latter designed as a matching style to the adults’ footwear.
The drop also includes other apparel and accessories, such as casual slides, T-shirts, pullovers, hoodies, hats, and pouches, set to be launched in the near future.
Speaking on this collaboration, Vice President of Skechers Southeast Asia Zann Lee explained, “One Piece is definitely a classic in the anime realm and we’re extremely excited to launch this fresh wave of Skechers x One Piece collection online and in stores.” She concludes, “Everyone will be able to find something that fits their personality.”
The Skechers x One Piece collection is available to purchase in Singapore now. The collab will also launch in Thailand and Malaysia on September 24 and October 1 respectively.
