In addition to HAVEN’s technical approach, the brand wanted the new collection to be just as comfortable as it was intelligently designed, integrating several new fabrics made for cold and inclement weather. For wind-resistant and waterproof fabrics, the brand used Loro Piana’s Storm System 3L Wool from Italy and DICROS mauri, a fabric from Japan. Additionally, the brand introduced a range of insulated essentials that feature an 800-fill white goose down, while other base-layer garments were constructed from a range of fleece fabrics.
With an overall muted color palette of shadow blue, black, grey, sand, olive green, bark brown and white, the collection is designed for the colder months ahead. In its array of toned-down colors and varied fabrics, the collection includes technical pants, corduroy bottoms, bomber jackets, flannels, sweaters and more.
The brand also introduced its first footwear offering — modern combat boots inspired by the Canadian military uniform.
The first delivery of HAVEN’s FW21 collection will be released on the brand’s website at 11 a.m. ET and in-stores at HAVEN Toronto and HAVEN Vancouver on September 23 at 12 p.m. local time.
