COMME des GARÇONS Parfums Debuts Soapy "MARSEILLE" Fragrance

Dominated by the Savon de Marseille and neroli top notes.

COMME des GARÇONS Parfums makes some of our favorite fragrances, and now it returns with another new concoction, “MARSEILLE.”

Dominated by its Savon de Marseille top note, the eau de toilette is rather soapy and clean as it’s supported by the accompanying top note of neroli, known for its bright and green undertones. To round the crispness off, the fragrance has a heart of florals, rose and lychee alongside orange crystal, while at the base things take a much darker turn with amber, woody, musky undertones that pair well with the powdery soapiness from the initial top note.

Altogether, it’s a scent unlike most of the COMME des GARÇONS Parfums range which is usually more peppery, woody, or floral-based. If you head over to the website, there’s also a poem that speaks on the wonders of Marseille in France.

For those who just want to pick up the perfume, head over to Dover Street Market Ginza’s website or DSML to purchase “MARSEILLE” in either 30ml or 50ml-sized bottles now. It is priced at approximately $97 USD and $120 USD respectively.
