Chrome Hearts Preview SEX RECORDS Exclusives for New York Fashion Week Pop-Up
Inspired by ’90s big-box toy stores and racing.
Chrome Hearts is back with creative director Matt DiGiacomo’s fictional record label for a New York Fashion Week SEX RECORDS pop-up.
Last seen in 2018 at Los Angeles’ Maxfield LA, this new activation sees a number of playful objects that relish in the ’90s and 2000s era. Available by appointment only, the space takes the form of a big-box toy store with items like the race-inspired 99 Eyes sunglasses that come packaged with the U LIE’N Speed Freak toy car, CH branded toilet paper, shopping baskets, and helmets. In the apparel section, Chocolate Chip cross patches make their way on the leather vest, Speed Racer 99 leather jacket, and Taka bag. Rounding off the exclusive items are trucker caps, jeans, beanies, Slime-Green pants, work pants, sweatshirts, and hoodies — all covered in SEX RECORDS’ whimsical “SEX” and “69” branding.
The pop-up will take place for three days from today until September 12 on 40 Bethune Street, New York.
