Yesterday, Collecting Cars announced “The Heselden Collection,” a 17-car auction that brought some rare models to the block, and now it has outdone itself with the launch of a new lot — a 2012 Koenigsegg Agera S.

Said to be just one of five built between 2012 and 2014, this particular example is finished in green-tinted carbon fiber bodywork with glossy carbon fiber accents and neon green stripes, set upon the marque’s signature “Hollow Space Carbon Fiber Aircore” wheels that made their debut on this model. These rims — which are also detailed with green highlights and information — are 40% lighter than a comparative set of forged alloy wheels, making the car feel lighter on the steering to deliver a better driving experience.

That driving feel is enhanced thanks to the hypercar’s immense amount of power. Packing a five-liter twin-turbocharged V8, the Agera S pumps out 1,030 BHP and 811 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and an electronic differential. 62 MPH is hit in just 2.9 seconds, while the top speed of the car is 249 MPH, although it could be ever so slightly more depending on the conditions you’re driving in.

The drama is continued inside where you’ll find a cabin that’s inspired by a fighter jet, swathed in exposed carbon fiber alongside a dashboard and bucket seats that sport a black leather and neon green thread finish. As of writing, the Koenigsegg Agera S has a bid of £701,500 GBP (approximately $960,000 USD), but given the car’s original cost price of $1.46m USD, and its rarity, we expect this figure to grow exponentially before the auction ends in three days.

Take a closer look at the 2012 Koenigsegg Agera S above, and find out more on Collecting Cars’ website.
