The Hundreds x Crenshaw Skate Club Is a Full Circle Moment for the Young Brand
Including t-shirts, hoodies and a snapback hat.
The Hundreds has teamed up with Crenshaw Skate Club for a capsule collection. The brand was founded by Los Angeles skate and streetwear rising star Tobey McIntosh.
For 18-year-old McIntosh, Crenshaw Skate Club was his way of getting youth involved in skating and promoting a positive community. The brand is now a few years old and was also birthed out of his desire to see people like himself in skate magazines and videos.
Early on, McIntosh made t-shirts for his friends to wear while they skated, but soon the shirts ended up in local stores. Afterward, Crenshaw Skate Club t-shirts were on the shelves of stores across the country such as Supreme, Union and more. Since then, the brand has also collaborated with Lacoste, BornxRaised, Carrots, and more, in addition to a community-building project with Jordan.
The new collaboration with The Hundreds brings the brand’s story back to its origins as Ben Hundreds first discovered the brand when McIntosh was 14 years old. Hundreds and McIntosh first made a connection when McIntosh introduced himself and the brand when they were dining at the same restaurant. Since this moment, Hundreds has been of mentor of McIntosh’s.
The new collection includes skate staples such as T-shirts, a hoodie and a snapback hat, which all feature new artwork by Hundreds. The new designs are featured on black, light blue, gold and white t-shirts. Additionally, the hoodie comes in red and black.
The Hundreds x Crenshaw Skate Club collection dropped today on The Hundred app, the brand’s website and on Fairfax at The Hundreds Los Angeles.
