Nike Gives the Free Run Trail Crater a Sustainable Update
Arriving in a mix of neutral tones and bright orange.

Nike has returned to its Free Run Trail Crater silhouette, incorporating sustainable materials across the trail-focused sneaker. As well as the new materials used, Nike has also dressed the sneaker in an understated color palette complete with various natural tones.
The sneaker is now constructed from at least 20% recycled material by weight, alongside the use of Nike Grind on the outsole and sections of Crater Foam. Additionally, Nike has dressed the sneaker in an upper constructed from transparent ripstop and a lightweight mesh material, giving it a breathable and lightweight construction. Finishing off the sneaker is its muted color palette, that mixes white with elements of “Cream II,” “Cave Stone” and contrasting detailing — including the Swoosh, lace hoops and tongue branding — in bright orange.
