As part of this year’s Primavera Sound Festival, adidas Originals hosted the “Nits del Forum” stage headlined by Spanish artists Cruz Cafuné and Recycled J. Continuing its archival journey to revive the iconic Forum silhouette, the anticipated performance coincided with the sneaker’s launch as both artists were adorned in the new and improved editions of the model.

Forming the intersection between lifestyle and sport, the Forum sneaker first debuted on the basketball court in 1984 and has since elevated its cultural status as a style icon. Despite having roots in sport, the sneaker represents self-expression — boasting a versatile aesthetic suitable for any setting. Inspired by the essence of the ‘80s, this season the sportswear brand has reinvented the sneaker in three styles channeling its long-standing heritage — this time revamped using modernized key elements.

The Forum Exhibit Lo wraps the classic silhouette in a low-profile look adopting a white leather upper which complements the red and navy accents. It’s rounded off with the option to have the sneakers’ signature velcro strap removable. The Forum Exhibit Mid adopts similar features on a mid-cut silhouette and also arrives in a pastel blue colorway as well as the classic hues. The Forum Lo completes the collection and taps into the OG colorway and silhouette reimagined for 2021.

The complete adidas Originals Forum collection is available to purchase now from the brand’s website.
