After cooking up a ZX8000 SUPEREARTH collaboration, Sean Wotherspoon and adidas are reuniting for another joint footwear project alongside the folks at Disney. Together, the three parties have joined hands on the adidas Superturf Adventure and fashioned it in a way that honors Jiminy Cricket from the 1940 motion picture The Adventures of Pinocchio.

Like Wotherspoon‘s previous collaborations with adidas, this impending colorway still keeps the multi-colored streak alive, but is bereft of the wild pattern-blocking and loose ended stitchings. The most prominent color on this offering is a regal purple hue that spills onto the corduroy underlays and zippers, the latter of which conceals an actual image of the fictional Disney character himself. Two more sets of overlays are positioned on the side panels, one arriving in the form of green synthetics while the other set is engineered with beige leather. Additionally you can find golden yellow hits atop the toe boxes, interior lining and the lace loops which represent Jiminy Cricket’s shoes while teal blue leathers surround the throat to translate his oversized top hat. A peachy mold that’s decorated with speckled wallpaper is used as the mudguard and sits above an adiprene-cushioned midsole and forest green outsole. Additionally, the shoes come packaged with a detachable pouch that sits on top of the throat and is utilized with the aforementioned zipper.

Early reports have these dropping in November 2021, but this has yet to be confirmed.
