Booking.com’s ice cream truck rental celebrates National Ice Cream Day.
Staycations have become part of the new normal, so to make things a little sweeter Booking.com has launched a competition with the prize being a stay in a fully decked-out ice cream truck.
In honor of National Ice Cream Day on July 18, Booking.com is giving you the chance to have a sleepover experience in the vintage ice cream truck that has been fully converted into a sleeping caravan. You can choose from July 17th or the 18th, and in the package, you’ll also get to experience a Downtown Manhattan ice cream shop walking tour, the Museum of Ice Cream, and more alongside your stay.
As for the ice cream truck itself, you’ll find a range of cold treats such as Japanese Matcha, Tahitian Vanilla, Chilean Corn Crema and Italian Blood Orange Gelato all inside the van, as well as a theme inspired by ice cream. For example, the floor is covered in sprinkles, bedding looks like a waffle cone, the cabinets are dripping with melting ice cream, and the colors used throughout pop with neon hues.
Booking.com wants to prove that “anything is popsicle,” and this getaway is the perfect treat for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. A one-nights stay costs $7.18 USD, and bookings are available on a FCFS basis from July 16 at 10 a.m. ET. Find out more on Booking.com’s website.
