Converse's Chuck 70 "Hybrid Texture" Pack Offers the Best of Both Worlds

There’s no denying the staying power of Converse, and if you’re looking for a fool-proof pair of kicks to rock around in this summer then the Chuck 70 is an easy go-to. Now, that decision has been made even easier thanks to Converse’s new “Hybrid Texture” pack, comprising of a Chuck 70 Hi and Low in two unique bi-tone colorways.

Starting with the Chuck 70 Hi, we find a palette of “Saturn Gold/Pink Salt” gracing the canvas uppers. The colors are found on both shoe’s respective lateral and medial sides, meaning each foot is contrasting but together they form a cohesive pair. A full-grain leather Converse All Star roundel appears on the “Saturn Gold” medial side, while an “Egret” tongue splits the pair in half alongside a set a matching laces that bring the sneakers together.

As for the Low, you’ll find a clean combination of “Light Twine/Light Armory Blue,” which again adopts the same asymmetrical look alongside a tongue that splits the colors up. Naturally, silver eyelets have been added, as has an “Egret” sole unit and toe cap (like the one on the Hi).
