adidas Originals Delivers Three Iterations of The Iconic Forum Sneaker
Championing individuality and open-mindedness.
First debuted as a basketball sneaker in the 1980s, the adidas Originals’ Forum has since established itself as an international cultural footwear staple. This season, adidas Originals pushes the next generation of trendsetters to embrace an ethos of individualism as well as to channel a fearless attitude to experimentation. adidas Singapore is also set to launch a new video series titled The Open Forum Show — enlisting adidas creators of various disciplines to speak on a range of prevalent topics. The first episode will air on July 24 via the adidasForum website as well as being hosted on IGTV.
The Fall/Winter 2021 collection sees the sportswear giant delve into its archives to reimagine the iconic silhouette in various designs. With three distinct new looks, each model draws on the sneakers’ profound heritage whilst modernizing its key elements including a new and improved nylon Dellinger web netting as well as an updated foreflex toe cut for added mobility.
Forum Exhibit Lo
This iteration sees all of the sneaker’s classic elements reworked into a low-profile look. Arriving in a premium leather upper with subtle suede overlays, the white colorway is complemented with red accents and navy blue details for a versatile look. Giving the wearer the ability to transform the sneaker, its signature strap is also removable on this edition.
Forum Lo
Elevating the classic, this sneaker is adorned in a primary color palette using striking white, navy, red and yellow emblazoned across the shoe as well as a repeating Trefoil logo dominating the tongue.
Forum Mid & Forum Lo
A Forum collection wouldn’t be complete without the two colorways which kickstarted it all. As a homage to the classic, adidas reintroduces the Forum Hi and Lo in its OG blue and white colorways, modernized by upgrading its crafted materials.
The new iterations of the adidas Originals Forum are set to release on July 16 with prices ranging from $130 – $140 SGD (approximately $96 – $103 USD), via the brand’s app, website as well as all adidas Originals stores in Singapore.
