With Wimbledon cleared to begin on June 28, UNIQLO has revealed two all-new Game Wear styles for this year. The new game wear items were designed in consultation with Roger Federer and Kei Nishikori, and will be worn in their upcoming competitions.

Developed at UNIQLO Paris R&D Center, the pieces reflect both athlete’s distinct competitive styles. The 2021 Wimbledon Championship models feature green and blue trim reminiscent of the iconic Wimbledon grounds, while the UNIQLO 20 models feature the players’ DRY-EX polo shirts in bright red. Both kits employ mapped meshing to provide breathability for comfort in the hot summer weather. The release of the Wimbledon and UNIQLO 20 models are released in conjunction with the relaunch of Roger Federer’s iconic “RF” cap, now available in eight new colors.

The Roger Federer model is a stylish design with a delicate line check pattern on a clean, white base. Light blue and green accents casually adorn the collars and sleeves. Both athletes express their enthusiasm for this year’s kits. “For Wimbledon, I feel the green and blue trim is a nice accent to the iconic grounds and helps me feel right at home with the tournament so close to my heart. As for wearing my country’s colors on the global stage, this gives me an additional sense of pride. I want to thank the team at UNIQLO for their support making this happen,” says Federer.

The Kei Nishikori game wear has inobtrusive yellow lines along the body side to give a flashy impression during gameplay. “The UNIQLO 20 model wear is a design that will encourage me during competition. I will do my best to inspire hopes and dreams for all my fans,” says Nishikori.

The 2021 Wimbledon Championships game wear models will release on June 21st with the UNIQLO 20 game wear models releasing on July 8th. The collections range in price from $8 to $40 USSD and will be available in both kids and adult sizes in select UNIQLO stores and online.
