Fury vs. Wilder III has officially been confirmed with a fight date.

The boxing trilogy is Wilders chance at redemption after a split draw for the first fight and a technical knockout loss in the second rematch. On contract, Wilder’s clause entitles him to take a third fight but with only 40 percent of the purse. The fight was originally supposed to happen earlier this year but was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

During the press conference, many fans and reporters were left confused as Wilder began by thanking Jesus and his team, finishing with “Look, enough said. Time to cut off his head. And come July 24, there will be bloodshed. Get your tickets, I’ll see you soon.” He then proceeded to stay silent while ignoring reporters for the remainder of the presser.

Fury showed up in true Gypsy King fashion as he had words for both Wilder and his trainer Malik Scott. Appearing shirtless with a white backwards cap, Fury continued to get under his adversaries skin just before the strange face-off.

The two pugilists then engaged in a six-minute-long staring contest ignoring the media request to face forward for the cameras. Deontay Wilder eventually walked off the stage reminding us of a similar situation Fury had with Wladimir Klitschko in a sauna. Fury ended the press conference with, “Thank you for turning out for this one-sided press conference.”

The trilogy match will take place on July 24 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The current odds have Tyson Fury at -280 with Deontay Wilder at a +230.
