Nike Fits the Air Huarache With Embossed Maple Leaves, Cork-Effect Rubber, and Hemp Laces
Served in “Summit White/Pink Glaze/Sea Glass/Rattan.”

Nike continues to celebrate the Air Huarache‘s 30th anniversary with yet another incredible iteration, this time around fitting the iconic sneaker in “Summit White/Pink Glaze/Sea Glass/Rattan.”
In usual Huarache form, the upper is made from a mixture of mesh, leather, and rubber, but this has been given a nature-inspired rework for this women’s-only pair. On the toe box, we find leather that’s lightly crackled and textured like the ground, while on the toe bumper, mid-panel overlay, and the eyestay section that extends towards the rear, you’ll spot a very subtle and faint outline of maple tree leaves, adding an embossed texture to the shoes.
Continuing the natural theme is the cork-effect rubber that makes up the Nike-branded heel support cage, the tongue tab, and also the outsole, which is contrasted by the “Summit White” AIR-equipped midsole. Completing the look is a set of “Pink Glaze” hemp shoelaces, the “Pink Glaze” branding on the tongue, and a cork insole that’s finished off with more pink branding.
Take a look at the Nike Air Huarache “Summit White/Pink Glaze/Sea Glass/Rattan” above, and pick up a pair from retailers such as Hanon when they drop on July 1. The sneaker is set to cost £115 GBP (approx. $160 USD).
