Realised when the brand’s creative director passed a woman wearing one of the classic MP logo shirts and was immediately struck at how the graphic felt instantly at home in the cultural vernacular, the brand set about launching Monkeypaw Wares designed for the horror nerds, mischief makers and storytellers.
The unisex line features the archetypal “M Paw” logo which was created by Hassan Rahim and Mark Owens on everyday garments like hoodies, sweaters and T-Shirts.
A percentage of sales proceeds will be donated to HBCU in LA, a non-profit program that provides vital access for students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities to pursue careers in the entertainment industry.
