Billie Eilish Has an Air Jordan 1 KO Collaboration on the Way
The 8-time GRAMMY Award winning artist and the Jumpman are linking up.
Anticipation for Billie Eilish‘s forthcoming album Happier Than Ever is building up as its launch is slated for July 30, 2021, but prior to this new music release, the GRAMMY Award winning artist is now also bringing light to another project of hers: an Air Jordan 1 KO collaboration. If you’ve paid any bit of attention to her fashion style, you’d notice that Eilish is a huge fan of sneakers and is often seen rocking Nike collaborations and Jordans, so this inaugural footwear partnership with Jordan Brand makes plenty of sense.
Vibrant colors tend to play a huge role in Eilish’s wardrobe, and she certainly transfers that playful energy to these collaborative kicks. Opting for the monochromatic motif, the “Lost Cause” crooner wraps everything from the nylon tongues to the leather side walls to bottom pieces in a neon volt hue. Tongue branding has been modified here as the traditional Nike Air hit has been substituted for her signature Blohsh insignia. Her own namesake is also printed across the volt insoles in black font alongside a Jumpman logo. Packaged with the kicks is a cobranded notebook which potentially nods to her powerful songwriting abilities.
No official release info is known at this time, but it’s likely that these could see a release towards the end of 2021.
