The sun is shining bright, schools have dismissed its students for Summer Break and the biggest sneaker brands across the globe are jam packing a wealth of releases before June 2021 comes to a close. Over the course of this next week, imprints like Nike, Jordan Brand, Reebok, New Balance and more have some treats lined up for sneaker lovers across the globe, but prior to us delving into these, let’s have a look at the biggest sneaker news that sprung last week.

As usual, HYPEBEAST‘s weekly Sole Mates series continued with an in-depth conversation with Anna Bediones — one of the OG female sneaker content creators and the Director of Women’s Strategy at SoleSavy. Additionally, we had the chance to chop it up with Salehe Bembury about his latest New Balance 2002R “Water Be The Guide” collaboration and speak to Brooks about its DNA Loft V3 Foam for our What the Tech? series. News-wise, Nike took the opportunity to garner a substantial amount of attention as the 21-piece Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 collection was previewed at Paris Fashion Week, images of the Air Woven emerged and official photos of the “South Beach” LeBron 8s popped up. Additionally, we saw detailed looks at Nike SB’s special lunch box packages for its “Kebab and Destroy” Dunk Highs, the UNDERCOVER x Nike Gyakusou VaporFlys, a third ACG Terra-inspired Dunk Low and Quartersnacks’ zebra-patterned Dunk Low. Its Beaverton neighbors at Jordan Brand inserted themselves into the conversation as well with more images of the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 2 Low collection, an early glimpse of the Air Jordan 1 High “Bordeaux” and an in-depth look at the Air Jordan 1 Low “Mighty Swooshers.”

Kanye West and adidas definitely deserve to be recognized as they brought light to the forthcoming YEEZY 450 “Resin”, gave a detailed look at the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “MX Oat” and even sued Walmart for blatantly knocking off the YEEZY FOAM RNNR and selling it at a cheaper price. In terms of other news, Travis Scott and Dior previewed the entire Cactus Jack x Dior collection, YG beefed up his Block Runner catalog with a clean black and white colorway and Just Don released its first in-line silhouette.

Now that we’ve got you all up to speed, let’s round up this week’s 10 best launches. After you dive into those, be sure to head over to HBX to check out even more new footwear styles.

Nike Dunk High “Game Royal”

Release Date: June 29
Release Price: $110 USD
Where to Buy: Nike SNKRS and Sneaker Politics
Why You Should Cop: Dunks continue to be a significant force in the sneaker market, and Nike is continuing its wave with a “Game Royal” colorway. Leaning further into the “Be True to Your School” Dunk movement, these are crafted with a duo of tones including its titular shade that lines the overlays as well as a crisp white that spills onto the toe boxes, quarters and collars. If you missed out on the “Kentucky” Dunk Lows that dropped back in 2020, these would surely make a nice consolation prize.

Nike Air Force 1 Low “Acorn”

Release Date: June 29
Release Price: $130 USD
Where to Buy: Nike SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: A classic that originally launched back in 2002, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Acorn” is making its glorious return. Constructed with Autumn-friendly tones, the lifestyle offering is dressed up with leather overlays that dial to its titular shading and come mated with canvas fabrics underneath that see through to an ecru finish. Its neutral-heavy palette certainly makes it a versatile option to keep in rotation all-year long.

Power Rangers x Reebok Collection

Release Date: June 29
Release Price: $100-$180 USD
Where to Buy: Reebok
Why You Should Cop: Reebok has been collaborating with many nostalgic partners as of late including the likes of Candy Land and NERF, and now its adding one of the most iconic live-action superhero series to its arsenal: the Power Rangers. The capsule involves fresh iterations atop the Zig Kinetica II, Nano X1, Club C Legacy, Freestyle Hi, Club C, and the Question Mid. THe first five pairs in the capsule are dressed to represent each color of the rangers, while the Question Mid is engineered to match that of the Megazord. If you grew up watching Mighty Morphin’, you might want to scoop up a pair from the collection.

BAIT x One-Punch Man x adidas Montreal 76

Release Date: June 30
Release Price: $120 USD
Where to Buy: BAIT
Why You Should Cop: After collaborating on a duo of apparel collections, BAIT and One-Punch Man are reuniting and bringing along adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE -0.48%) Originals for a fresh take atop the Montreal 76. The lifestyle take is smothered in hues that are signature to the superhero. Suede uppers are dominated by a golden-yellow hue and come color-blocked with red-pink stripes, laces, tongues and heels. One-Punch Man branding is also printed on the heels to further echo its motif.

Reebok Question Low “White Ice”

Release Date: June 30
Release Price: $120 USD
Where to Buy: Reebok
Why You Should Cop: Allen Iverson’s signature footwear line with Reebok has substantially grown with many different renditions this season, and next up on the list is the Question Low “White Ice” As you can infer from its moniker, this installment hones in on a chilly palette. Leather uppers are cowled with a pure white tone, leaving the only contrasting notes to appear via the bold blue bottoms.

Air Jordan 6 “Gold Hoops”

Release Date: June 30
Release Price: TBD
Where to Buy: Nike SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Every season Jordan Brand caters to their women’s audience with new retro offerings, and next up on the release calendar is the Air Jordan 6 “Gold Hoops”. The ladies-only variation is predominantly stylized with premium white leathers throughout the upper and comes complemented by blush pink notes atop the tongues, heel tabs and midsoles. Actual golden earrings — which potentially nod to the 90s era when MJ would rock them — are lined up down the throat and come neighbored by gilded toggles and a dangling Jumpman logo.

Bodega x New Balance 990v3

Release Date: July 1
Release Price: $220 USD
Where to Buy: New Balance
Why You Should Cop: To celebrate 15 years of business, Bodega and New Balance partnered up on an earthy take of the New Balance 990v3. The shoes already released via Bodega, but now they’ll be given a wider launch. Aside from the striking combination of murky tones and blue accents, the heels are perhaps the most appealing part of the kicks as each foot splits between 2006 and 2021 hits that nod to the retailer’s anniversary.

Palace Skateborads x Vans Authentic

Release Date: July 2
Release Price: TBD
Where to Buy: Palace
Why You Should Cop: Palace is no stranger to the world of footwear collaborations as it has previously dropped capsules with Reebok and adidas, but now it’s set to welcome Vans into its portfolio. The London-based streetwear label has linked up with the Anaheim skate juggernaut and whipped up a trio of Vans Authentics. Palace’s employee Jeremy the Duck covers each take in all-over fashion on the uppers, while co-branded hits are printed in the heels of the midsoles. Peach, black and white colorways are included in the range.

Air Jordan 4 “White Oreo”

Release Date: July 3
Release Price: $190 USD
Where to Buy: Nike SNKRS and Sneaker Politics
Why You Should Cop: The Air Jordan 4 “White Oreo” is arguably one of the most anticipated releases from Jordan Brand this year that isn’t a collaboration. It’s essentially a reworked version of the ever-classic “White Cement” 4s as it keeps the heritage gray speckles on the caging and midsoles, but it’s bereft of any black accents. Additionally, the heels are branded with Jumpman insignias instead of the more favored Nike Air embellishments.

Jean-Michel Basquiat x Dr. Martens 1460 and 1461

Release Date: July 3
Release Price: TBD
Where to Buy: Dr. Martens
Why You Should Cop: Dr. Martens tends to venture into the collaborative ring on many different occasions per year, and it’s next act involves a two-piece pack with late artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. This capsule entails the 1460 and 1461 models, the former of which is dressed with art from Untitled (1982) while the latter is adorned with Pez Dispenser‘s dinosaur on the mid-foot.
