Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival Sells Out in Under One Hour, Fans Complain About $300 USD Starting Price
Despite no lineup being announced.

Shortly after being announced, Travis Scott recently put tickets for the third annual Astroworld Festival up for sale. Available at 11 a.m. EDT, May 5, tickets for the entire weekend event sold out in less than 60 minutes. Despite not lineup being revealed, the 2021 iteration of Astroworld Festival set a new record for the fastest sell-out yet with 100,000 guests now expected this fall.
Following the sale, fans were quick to voice their dissatisfaction with the pricing for Astroworld Festival 2021. Tickets this year started at $300 USD plus $65 USD in fees for two-day general admission, a rather steep increase from the $179 USD price point seen in 2019. Two-day Stargazing VIP passes were $725 USD + $69 USD fee and the two-day No Bystander VIP passes were $1,000 USD + $78 USD fee.
Set to return to NRG Park in Houston, Texas November 5-6, the expanded two-day format event will see a new creative theme, “Open Your Eyes To A Whole New Universe.” With a full music lineup headlined by La Flame as he prepares for the release of his Utopia album. Additionally a portion of proceeds from Astroworld Festival 2021 will be donated to the official charity partner, Cactus Jack Foundation. A non-profit organization founded by Travis Scott to empower and enrich the lives of youth by providing access to education and creative resources to ensure long-term success.
