The Weeknd and Ariana Grande‘s remix of “Save Your Tears” has jumped to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The rendition of the After Hours cut moved up five spaces from its debut spot of No. 6, with all versions of the track earning a combined 30.4 million U.S. streams and selling 18,000 downloads in the week ending April 29.

This officially marks both The Weeknd and Ariana Grande’s sixth No. 1 entry each; the XO Records head has led the chart with “Blinding Lights” in 2020, “Heartless” in 2019, “Starboy” with Draft Punk in 2017 and “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face” in 2015, while Grande took the top spot with “positions,” “Rain on Me” with Lady Gaga and “Stuck With U” with Justin Bieber in 2020, “7 rings” in 2019 and “thank u, next” in 2018.

In addition to earning yet another No. 1 track, After Hours is the first album since Drake‘s Scorpion to release three No. 1 entries from the same record, and is one of the few projects to lead the Billboard Hot 100 in three distinct years.

In related news, the GRAMMY chief has responded to whether or not The Weeknd’s boycott influenced the Recording Academy’s decision to disband the “secret” nomination committees.
