A rare Michael Jordan autographed NBA-All Star Game patch card has appeared on the market. The NBA legend’s trading card is set to sell for $2.5 million USD at Goldin Auctions.

The 1997-98 NBA All-Star card was released in Jordan’s final season with the Chicago Bulls and has been dubbed the “most significant Michael Jordan trading card ever produced” and the first autographed patch card. Goldin Auctions said in an official statement, the card “is considered to be one of the most valuable Jordan cards in existence.”

The Michael Jordan card has been graded a NM-MT 8 by PSA, with the autograph graded a 9 by PSA/DNA. The highly exclusive, carefully crafted pieces features a contragulatory statement that highlights the authenticity of the signature and genuineness of the patch component. This limited-edition card is number 21 out of 23 and has a near mint to mint condition.

Bidding for the card is currently open for auction at Goldin Auctions until May 22.

In case you missed it, Post Malone recently dropped thousands of dollars on Magic: The Gathering cards.
