Started nearly 10 years ago, viral Instagram account Shibuya Meltdown™ has served as an archive of submitted clips that showcase Tokyo’s rambunctious nightlife. With close to 250,000 followers, Shibuya Meltdown™ is celebrating its place in documenting unique moments for the world to see with its first merch collection.

The inaugural range was created alongside artist Jim Mitchell, founder of Australian-based surf label The Critical Slide Society, and features T-shirts, enamel pin and a scented candle. The graphic focus of Shibuya Meltdown™’s release is Suntory’s Strong Zero shochu highball cocktail line which is reportedly the cause of many “meltdowns.” Aside from being reworked through an illustration, the iconic crushed can is also expressed as a bright yellow candle that exudes a scent of refreshing grapefruit.

The first merch collection is available now on Shibuya Meltdown™’s website.
