'Resident Evil 4' Will Soon Be Playable In VR
Get up close and personal with zombies.

Fans of Resident Evil 4 will soon be able to immerse themselves in a new survival-horror experience. The game will be getting a fresh VR so players can get up close and personal with the zombies they’re fighting.
This is being made possible with Facebook’s virtual reality headset Oculus Quest 2. Released on Nintendo GameCube back in 2005, the game was originally made with a third-person view, but its new VR revamp brings everything to first-person. This means that when you play Leon S. Kennedy, for example, you’ll only get to see his hands as he shoots. VP of content at Facebook Reality Labs Mike Verdu notes the game “will bring new richness and depth to the Resident Evil experience you know and love.”
Details on the game’s release haven’t been disclosed yet, but Verdu says more information will be given at Facebook’s upcoming April 21 Oculus Gaming Showcase.
In case you missed it, Netflix has dropped a new trailer for Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.
