Playboi Carti Drops New Music Video for "Sky"
This hit track is featured on his #1 album ‘Whole Lotta Red’.
On Christmas Day in 2020, Playboi Carti gifted the world his newest musical body of work: the Whole Lotta Red album. Just over three months removed from the project’s release, ATL-born rapper has now dropped his accompanying music video for “Sky” — track 19 off of the record that went #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The music video totals out to a little over three minutes, and a majority of the clip looks as if it was shot through night vision goggles as it as many of the scenes are tinted with a potent green hue. Throughout the music video, Carti and a group of friends are displayed walking into a grocery store and causing a full on ruckus. They take the opportunity to knock down multiple items from the shelves, jump on top of refrigerators, steal carts from customers, pour various types of liquids on the floor and more. Towards the end of the visual, Carti and his crew end up walking out of the store care-free with cash and multiple items in their hand-carried baskets.
