Maison Margiela and Reebok's Tabi-Toed Classic Leather "Bianchetto" Is Re-Releasing
Following its initial launch in January.
Maison Margiela and Reebok have announced a re-release of their Tabi-toed Classic Leather “Bianchetto.” First debuted in January and followed up by two other Classic Leather collaborations — simple white and black styles that dropped in February — the “Bianchetto” mixes Margiela house codes and hand-painted details with one of Reebok’s most famed lifestyle silhouettes.
Though the sneaker’s base tone is black, its “Bianchetto” nickname is provided by its hand-painted white coating that fades away with wear for a unique look. The toebox is split directly down the center by a signature Tabi toe detail, and a large co-branded tag appears on the tongue. Along with the laces, collar and branded “window” on the quarter, this tongue takes on a rough-hewn gray shade, providing an artistic contrast to the aforementioned white upper.
Expect the Maison Margiela x Reebok Classic Leather Tabi “Bianchetto” to return to the Maison Margiela and Reebok webstores on Friday, April 9 at 10 am EST. Its MSRP is set at $350 USD.
