Fourth goes to Balenciaga following its partnership with Gucci and a strong year in making a stand against the use of fur, all while simultaneously knocking Off-White™ down the list. Fifth places goes to
From 11th to 20th place comes as follows: Versace, Burberry, Fendi, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, LOEWE, Givenchy (remaining in the same spot despite Matthew M Williams‘ collection debuting) Jacquemus, Balmain, and Stone Island.
It is no surprise that Gucci still leads the pack for Q1 2021, following the aforementioned partnership with Balenciaga, its North Face collaboration that still brings in traction for the brand (the GG Canvas bomber jacket is currently the world’s hottest item for women, fetching almost five times the retail price on the resell market), and having dressed the likes of Billie Eilish and Harry Styles for the Grammy Awards. The Gucci family is also taking center stage in the Lady Gaga and Adam Driver-staring film House of Gucci, which only adds to the buzz around the brand.
