UPDATE (April 13, 2021): Lil Nas X confirmed with HYPEBEAST via Twitter that “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” will be up to stream on Pornhub.

ORIGINAL STORY (April 13, 2021): Lil Nas X teased that his latest single “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” will be available to stream on Pornhub after it was briefly pulled from streaming services.

Taking to Twitter to make the announcement, the artist shared fan tweets which showed that the track was either skipping automatically or just not playing altogether. As Lil Nas X warned that the song “may no longer be available tomorrow” and that his hands are tied, he revealed that he is moving over to Pornhub. “since call me by your name is no longer working on many streaming services i will be uploading the audio to pornhub at 3pm est,” he tweeted.

Fans can breathe a sigh of relief, however, as it seems like “MONTERO” is available on all major streaming platforms once again. Columbia Records acknowledged the issue and released a statement which reads, “Thanks for all your comments regarding @LilNasX “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” It’s unfortunately out of our control but we are doing everything possible to keep the song up on streaming services. We will keep you up to date as we hear more. Thank you for understanding.”

Elsewhere in music, Young Thug officially announced the release date of Slime Language 2.
