Billionaire Boys Club and Reebok are back together, teaming for a pair of special Instapump Fury BOOST sneakers, BBC’s first take on the Steven Smith-designed silhouette. This time, the duo are taking an organic tact for the joint effort, drawing from organic elements for some tech-infused running shoes.
Offered in “Earth” (Pine Green/Boulder Grey/Triathlon Red) and “Water” (Dandy Blue/Sky Blue/Yellow Sensation), the two Instapumps feature uppers infused with ultra-tough Cordura, reflective 3M on the forefoot “bladder,” premium leather on the toebox and BBC’s Helmet motif atop the Pump button. There’s also adidas BOOST tech in the pure white midsoles, as part of the ongoing Instapump Fury BOOST series, ensuring extreme comfort and cushioning. A BBC ICE CREAM hangtag completes the collaborative design, hearkening back to the streetwear brand’s heritage.
Though this is the first Instapump to receive the BBC revision, the label has dropped several special Reebok designs over the past year alone. There were two Question silhouettes, for instance, that launched in October with heritage patterns, upholding the throwback theme provided by a special Club C that debuted in early 2020.
“The concept, the colorways, the presentation – these are really nice expansions of my original designs,” Steven Smith offered in a statement. “I always enjoy seeing what BBC is working on and love the way the colors are applied here in new ways. It’s an honor to see them taking an interest in the Fury.”
On April 23, both Instapump Fury BOOST silhouettes launch via Billionaire Boys Club’s American, European and Japanese websites and its flagship stores for $200 USD apiece. Then, Reebok’s website and stores and select stockists across America will receive the models on April 30. Some stores, like HBX, already have them in stock.
Just before BBC’s latest shoes launch, Reebok is issuing a 420-friendly pair of Classic Leather runners.
