A Ma Maniére Announces Official Release Date for Its Air Jordan 3 Collaboration
The luxurious kicks will also be accompanied by a full co-branded apparel collection.

UPDATE (April 21, 2021): The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 “Raised by Women” release has been postponed until April 28.
ORIGINAL STORY (April 5, 2021): A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand have announced an official release date for their highly-anticipated Air Jordan 3 collaboration. Luxurious in style and heartfelt in inspiration — the shoe was first revealed by Whitaker Group head James Whitner and AMM recently released a Raised By Women short film to commemorate its impending arrival — this detailed take on Michael Jordan‘s third signature sneaker is also accompanied by a full capsule of unisex apparel.
Done up in a “White/Medium Grey/Violet Ore” colorway, the AJ3 proffers an elegant look with its supple tumbled leather and shaggy suede construction. It also boasts unique detailing like co-branded tongues, artfully-aged heel tabs with OG Nike Air hits and even a quilted satin sockliner. Its accompanying apparel collection consists of satin jackets and cargo pants plus staple pieces like shorts, tees and hoodies — all of which are presented in a neutral color palette and boast special AMM x Air Jordan detailing.
The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 and its matching apparel are set to release on the A Ma Maniére webstore come April 21. Shoes will be available in an extended size run ranging from men’s 3.5 to 14 (women’s 5 to 15.5) and adult pairs will be priced at $200 USD. Apparel is inclusively sized as well, running from XS to XXL.
The release process itself is geared toward enabling the women who the shoe was inspired by a first crack at it: before a regular raffle for the shoes, there will be a “Women’s Early Access” raffle signup from April 14 to April 17 on Whitaker Group websites. A regular raffle will then occur from April 16 at 10 AM EST to April 18 at 10 PM EST. “It has been our priority all along to ensure women,
especially Black women, have access to this very special project as it launches,” says Whitaker Group founder James Whitner. “Our team has worked hard to ensure we are able to change the narrative on special launches and we are here to redefine what it means to serve Her first.”
