After linking up with the NBA earlier this year, Rowing Blazers has now partnered with heritage sportswear label Umbro for a new capsule. The 12-piece collection reinterprets Umbro‘s football legacy, with soccer jerseys and shorts, and field jackets all transformed into the signature Rowing Blazers’ style.
All of the items in the collection come in four different patterns, including the colorful croquet stripe, Elsewhere, Rowing Blazers incorporates gun club check house tweed pattern, a navy and red zig-zag stripe and classic Gordon Modern tartan.
For the football jerseys, Rowing Blazers has added its logo in place of the sponsor, while founder Jack Carlson’s personal coat of arms is used on the chest. The coat of arms features references to Carlson’s time on the national rowing team, career in classic archaeology, and his childhood dog. Continuing the football influence, the collection is finished with a soccer ball in the croquet stripe design.
The full Rowing Blazers x Umbro collection will be available from the Rowing Blazers web store on March 26.
