Pharrell‘s creative initiatives just never seem to slow down. After opening up bookings to his newest “The Goodtime” hotel in Miami and cooking up an eyewear collection with Warby Parker through i am OTHER, the polymath is now reverting our attention back to his partnership with adidas. Williams and his Three Stripes family have officially unveiled the second drop of the “Triple Black” collection which entails monochromatic footwear and apparel pieces.
The latest to join in the 19-piece sneaker collection split between lifestyle, hiking and basketball models. Included are the NMD Hu, 0 to 60 STMT, Terrex Free Hiker, Terrex Trailmaker Mid, Crazy BYW 2.0 and the Donovan Mitchell‘s signature D.O.N Issue #2. Perhaps the most stand-out model in the assortment is the ever-popular NMD Hu, which, save for the reflective “Breathe” and “Thoughts” lettering that spell out down the throats and toe boxes, is completely draped in black.
Launching alongside the kicks is down-filled Terrex MYSHELTER jacket which is blacked out from top to bottom and is equipped with a waterproof exterior. Inside, one will find adidas’ HyperDRY™ Goose Down insulating technology locks the warmth in and keeps the cold out.
If interested, the second drop of the PW Triple Black Collection drops globally on March 19th through adidas, Confirmed and select retailers.
Elsewhere in footwear, adidas recently dropped a Detroit Pistons-inspired Forum Hi colorway.
