Maryam Nassir Zadeh‘s new menswear line is one to watch this year, as the beloved New York boutique expands its in-line apparel offering. Fall/Winter 2021 delivers even more genderfluid garments, including a plethora of goods suitable for men seeking throwback styling in line with Zadeh’s womenswear lineup.
Charmingly unfashionable staples are given new life in MNZ’s latest, including V-neck sweater vests and washed-out jeans emblazoned with rainbow-hued appliqué. Rumpled shirting and baggy, creased slacks are suitable for suiting up and dressing down, playing off the retro-cool aesthetic that’s always on the edge of youthful fashion trends; likewise, leather blazers are both vintage-inspired and culturally of the now. Genderless bags are rendered in woven leather and billowy textiles that flow like scarves, anchored by a new lineup of heavyweight and gently square-toed boots.
