Goldin Auctions has just sold a LeBron James 1/1 autographed 2004 Logoman game-used patch card for $1,291,500 USD. This is an all-time record for any LeBron James card produced between 2004 and now.
The record for a James rookie 2003-2004 patch card is held at $1.8 million USD and is considered the ninth-most expensive sports trading card of all-time. The 2004 1/1 James card’s autograph was graded a 10 by PSA. That year, the player was 20 years old and averaged an NBA-high of 42.4 minutes per game. He posted on average 27.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 7.2 assists.
Goldin Auctions describes the card as “abundantly appealing” which “bears LeBron’s distinctive, blue ink signature, and additionally incorporates a bright Logoman jersey patch relic that was worn by James in game action.
