Hiromichi Ochiai of FACETASM Announces ConvenienceWear Line for FamilyMart

Taking to FACETASM founder and designer Hiromichi Ochiai revealed his unexpected collaboration with FamilyMart. In a series of posts, Ochiai announced the ConvenienceWear basics line he prepared for the beloved Japanese convenience store chain. The post also notes that the project is part of FamilyMart’s ongoing “40のいいこと!?” 40th-anniversary celebrations.

Ochiai will serve as Creative Director of the ConvenienceWear line comprised of T-shirts, tank tops, boxer briefs, socks, foot covers, towels and more. The special range of basics is centered Paircool®, a functional cold-sensing textile produced by Japan’s Asahi Kasei Co., Ltd. Aside from offering practical high-quality wares at affordable prices, the line is ensured to be easily acquired from FamilyMart building on the idea of convenience.

Priced between ¥429 and ¥1,089 JPY (approximately $4 and $10 USD), Ochiai’s ConvenienceWear line will be available at around 16,700 select FamilyMart locations in Japan starting March 23.
