Whereas the previously-seen pair opted for a full red upper with “Coke White” detailing on the sole unit, this new pair delivers something much more subtle for those looking to rep Coca-Cola less overtly. As noted previously, this shoe’s official name is “Tokyo” which is presumably related to a forthcoming Tokyo Olympic Games collaborative product, which would tap into ASICS being a Japanese company and Coca-Cola being the longest-running sponsor of the International Olympic Committee to date.

Hits of red detail components such as the rope laces, the ASICS branding on the tongue, and even the lace stay — which aptly features a depiction of a Coca-Cola bottle on it — while more “Coke Red” touches can be found lining the interior and on the branded heel tab.
Rounding out this homage to the beloved soft drink is the GEL unit itself, which is tinted green in respect to the glasses and bottles that Coca-Cola was frequently served in. Last but by no means least is a complementing box design, also fitted with “Coke Red” and white branding.
