Chance The Rapper Is Conflicted in New Single "The Heart & The Tongue"
The track’s accompanying visual sees the rapper wearing his iconic 3 cap from the ‘Coloring Book’ era.
Chance The Rapper has dropped off his latest single, “The Heart & The Tongue.”
Produced by DexLvL and Chano himself, the new cut arrives with an accompanying music video and hears the Chicago rapper touch on inner conflict. Wearing his iconic 3 cap from the Coloring Book era, he opens up about the battle between his head and heart and labels them as “rhyme” and “reason.” He sprinkles several religious references throughout the two-and-a-half minute cut, but Chance manages to keep the track personal and relatable without airing his own dirty laundry.
“The Heart & The Tongue” arrives after his Merry Christmas Lil Mama holiday tape with Jeremih from December 2020. He also appeared on Vic Mensa‘s February 2021 track “SHELTER” alongside Wyclef Jean .
